Texas Instruments names Mark Gary as vice president

Texas Instruments appointed Mark Gary as vice president responsible for managing the DC Solutions business covering DC/DC converters, controllers, power modules, FETs and power stages.

Gary joined TI in 1998 as a product engineer within TIís high-reliability business unit. He has held a number of positions within the company, including product line manager for battery fuel gauges, business unit manager for TIís linear power business and most recently business unit manager for TIís DCS business.

Gary earned dual bachelorís degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from Texas Tech University, followed by a Master of Business Administration with a focus on strategy and marketing from Southern Methodist University.
