White paper by AWR addressing RF/microwave design flow issues

AWR Corporation offers the second in a series of white papers addressing RF/Microwave design flow issues. This latest offering, “EDA Software Design Flow Considerations for the RF/Microwave Module Designer,” outlines the steps for implementing an integrated design flow within the Microwave Office design suite for an MCM microwave monolithic integrated circuit (MMIC) design.

This white paper is a follow on to “RF/Microwave EDA Software Design Flow Considerations for PA MMIC Design,” which examines GaAs pHEMT PA design approach from a systems perspective. The PA design flow and its essential features is illustrated through the design of a Class A GaAs pHEMT MMIC PA using AWR’s Microwave Office high-frequency design software.

The “EDA Software Design Flow Considerations for the RF/Microwave Module Designer” white paper is available online at: http://www.awrcorp.com/solutions/technical-papers (registration required).

Additionally, the “RF/Microwave EDA Software Design Flow Considerations for PA MMIC Design” is also available at the same link and thru registration.
