Tessera and Sony settle litigation

Tessera Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSRA) ("Tessera" or the "Company") today announced that its Tessera, Inc. subsidiary has reached a settlement with Sony Corporation ("Sony") in its breach of contract action against Sony in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.

The terms of the settlement were identified by the court as confidential. The Company intends to provide additional details of the terms of the settlement after the parties enter into a definitive settlement agreement, subject to the terms of such agreement.
