ST wins sustainability award from Cisco

STMicroelectronics has received the 2013 Excellence in Sustainability Award from Cisco.

ST said it has won this award for demonstrating transparency and accountability for the environmental and social impacts of their operations. The distinction was awarded during Cisco's 22nd Annual Supplier Appreciation Event, held September 17 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.

“Our Supplier Appreciation Awards give us an opportunity to highlight excellent performances by the very best of our extended supply chain,” said Gary Cooper, vice president, Global Supplier Management, Cisco. “Our strong relationships and close collaboration with our suppliers and partner ecosystem continue to drive excellence in innovation, productivity and efficiency.”
