3-D display in Mercedes-Benz is powered by QNX and Garmin

The infotainment system in the newly launched luxury car 4.7-liter bi-turbo V8 Concept S-Class Coupé from Mercedes-Benz is powered by Garmin's modular K2 infotainment system. The navigation display features three-dimensional graphical display of map/route, where driver is provided with close to realistic view of the road with parks, buildings displayed as 3-D structures.

Mercedes-Benz has selected QNX CAR platform to design the infotainment system in the Mercedes-Benz Concept S-Class Coupé.

The infotainment system in Concept S-Class Coupé features all-digital instrument cluster and head unit. Mercedes-Benz have designed the infotainment system for the Mercedes-Benz Concept S-Class Coupé to be a seamless extension of the digital lifestyle, where the user can leverage existing mobile and cloud-based services to choose destinations easily and simply, in a way that is appropriate for the automotive context.
