DDC acquires National Hybrid data bus product line from API Technologies

Data Device Corporation (DDC) has expanded its MIL-STD-1553 data bus product offering with the acquisition of the National Hybrid data bus product line from API Technologies Corp. The data bus product line includes National Hybrid-brand products and UK-made MIL- STD-1553 and MIL-STD-1760 products.

Vincent Buffa, President of DDC, stated, "We are very excited about this acquisition which strengthens DDC's product offering, access to strategic markets, and reinforces DDC’s position as a leading supplier of high reliability data networking electronics for the US Department of Defense, as well as leading defense and aerospace contractors. Moreover, the acquisition will enhance DDC’s offerings to new and existing customers."

National Hybrid specializes in the manufacturing of MIL-STD-1553/1760 data bus transceivers and terminals, high-density multi-chip modules, and the custom advanced hybrid micro-electronic circuits.
