Cadence completes acquisition of Bangalore based Cosmic Circuits

Cadence Design Systems has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Cosmic Circuits Private Limited, a Bangalore, India based provider of analog and mixed signal intellectual property (IP) cores.

The Cosmic Circuits team will report to Martin Lund, Cadence’s senior vice president of research and development, SoC Realization Group.

The acquisition is not expected to have a material impact on Cadence’s 2013 results of operations.
