Murata acquires RF Monolithics

Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary Murata Electronics North America, Inc., have announced that it has closed the deal to acquire RF Monolithics, Inc. The cash transaction paid the holders of RFM common shares $1.78 per share.

RF Monolithics makes standardized and custom components to modules for comprehensive industrial wireless sensor networks and machine-to-machine (M2M) technology.
