Emerson Makes High-Performance RF Testing More Accessible with New NI PXI Core VSTs

Emerson has expanded its NI PXI Vector Signal Transceiver (VST) lineup with two new instruments the PXIe-5841 and PXIe-5820 aimed at making professional-grade RF testing affordable for teams that previously couldn't justify the cost.

High-performance RF test equipment has traditionally been expensive, limiting its use to well-funded programs. Many engineering teams in medical device development, academic research, and mid-scale electronics production have had to compromise on test quality or delay advanced testing until later in development both of which increase risk and cost downstream.

The Core VST instruments bring calibrated, synchronized RF measurements into a modular, cost-optimized platform.
