Axiro Semiconductor unveiled F0180 Wideband LNA for 5G and Mobile Infrastructure Applications

Axiro Semiconductor has made available the F0180, a high-performance wideband low-noise amplifier (LNA) developed entirely by its India RF team. The device meets customer requirements for low noise figure and high gain across the operating frequency band of 0.4 to 6 GHz.

The launch marks Axiro’s first RF product to be fully designed, developed, and characterized in India. The F0180 targets the mobile infrastructure market, where LNAs serve as essential components for signal reception in wireless front-end systems.

The product operates in the 0.4–6 GHz spectrum, covering 5G NR bands including n77 and n78, as well as other bands within the range. It also supports 4G LTE and 5G NR applications as a standalone solution.

Key specifications at 3.6 GHz include a typical noise figure (NF) of 0.6 dB, typical gain of 21 dB, typical output third-order intercept (OIP3) of +32.2 dBm, and typical output 1 dB compression point (OP1dB) of 20.1 dBm.

Additional features are as follows:
- RF range: 400 MHz to 6000 MHz
- 50Ω single-ended input/output impedances
- +5V power supply with IDD of 70 mA
- Standby mode for power saving with 1.8V/3.3V logic control
- Operating temperature range: -40°C to +115°C
- 2 × 2 mm, 8-DFN package

The F0180 is intended for use in 5...
