Littelfuse, has added the SB4000 to its Industrial Shock Block Series of Ground-Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI). The SB4000 is a compact device designed for systems with maximum full load current up to 30A. It supports single-, split-, and three-phase systems, as well as 4-wire systems operating from 208 to 240V. Models equipped with neutral wire connections include built-in grounded-neutral protection in accordance with the UL 943 standard.

The standard enclosure is IP 69K/NEMA 4X and outdoor rated, suitable for industrial environments including high temperature washdown applications in food production. The device is panel agnostic and intended for remodel and retrofit projects in commercial kitchens, HVAC, and residential pool and spa installations.
Additional features include advanced harmonic filtering, an automatic self-test function, and compliance with the UL 1998 Software in Programmable Components standard. It incorporates UL 943 inverse time detection, a fixed 6 mA trip level for personnel protection, a streamlined design without flying leads, flexible knockout positioning, and conformally coated circuit boards for corrosion and moisture resistance.
The SB4000 is a UL Listed Class A GFCI that supports compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) 210.8 for applicable single-, split-, three-phase, and 4-wire systems.
