VMS Solutions has announced the launch of MOZART 3.0, an AI-native supply chain planning (SCP) platform. The platform integrates 25 years of semiconductor-grade scheduling expertise with Generative AI and Reinforcement Learning.
VMS Solutions previously provided scheduling solutions for the semiconductor and display industries, which operate under complex production environments. With MOZART 3.0, the company is extending this approach to broader manufacturing sectors, including automotive, electronics, consumer goods, process, and retail.
The platform uses a Digital Twin-based architecture to provide visibility into operations. According to the company, manufacturers implementing MOZART have recorded a 5-10% increase in equipment utilization, a 10-30% reduction in inventory levels, up to a 15% improvement in on-time delivery rates, and nearly a 50% reduction in planning lead times.
A key feature of MOZART 3.0 is its Reinforcement Planning Engine, which simulates tens of thousands of scenarios to determine optimal production paths automatically. The platform also includes a Generative AI interface that allows users to conduct real-time "what-if" analyses, such as assessing the impact of equipment failure, and receive mitigation strategies.
