Speedata Partners with Nebul for First Deployment of Analytics Processing Unit in European Sovereign Cloud

Speedata, the developer of the Analytics Processing Unit (APU) described as the world's first purpose-built processor for big data and advanced analytics workloads, announced a strategic partnership with Nebul, a European Private AI Neocloud provider.

Under the agreement, Nebul will become the first platform to deploy Speedata's APU technology within its sovereign cloud infrastructure, which is owned and operated in Europe. This deployment targets European enterprises needing to process large-scale analytics and AI workloads while keeping data under European jurisdictional control.

The partnership addresses increased demand for AI compute in Europe, where data center capacity signings for AI purposes tripled in 2025 compared to the previous year, according to industry reports. European organizations often face the choice of using hyperscale cloud providers potentially subject to foreign legal jurisdiction to accelerate data-intensive tasks.

Nebul will integrate Speedata's APU into its European data center network, which uses renewable energy. The APU will be offered as part of Nebul's Data Platform, complementing its existing AI infrastructure.
