Panasonic Entertainment & Communication announced Image Adjust Pro, a new plug-in for its Media Production Suite platform. The software enables adjustment of image settings on multiple Panasonic studio and PTZ cameras using a PC or tablet.

The plug-in is scheduled for release in Q1 CY2026. Users should check the official website for the most current availability details.

In TV studios and large event venues, where various camera types are used, teams face challenges including limited space for multiple remote operation panels (ROPs) and differing adjustment methods across camera models. Image Adjust Pro functions as a software-based ROP compatible with Panasonic studio and PTZ cameras. A single license allows monitoring and control of up to 20 cameras simultaneously from one PC or tablet.

When combined with Panasonic camera systems and hardware ROPs, the plug-in supports remote operation and reduces the number of physical ROP units needed, which helps simplify production workflows.

The plug-in supports control of Panasonic studio and PTZ cameras, making it suitable for large multi-camera setups. It provides two main interfaces: a list view showing the status of up to 20 cameras per license, and a panel view that replicates a hardware ROP layout for displaying and controlling multiple cameras.

Its image adjustment functions match those of the AK-HRP1010 hardware ROP, allowing hybrid setups. Frequently used main cameras can remain on hardware ROPs, while others are managed via the plug-in, maintaining control precision while decreasing physical equipment requirements. In IP-based systems, the plug-in and hardware ROPs can run in parallel for customized control at different production sites.

Beyond the host PC, the plug-in is accessible from multiple devices (such as laptops and tablets) on the same network. This supports decentralized operation, enabling directors to monitor all camera statuses centrally while lighting and technical staff make adjustments from their own positions, creating a more flexible and collaborative workflow without physical constraints.

Three GUI options are offered for the control panel: a hardware-style layout matching the AK-HRP1010 button configuration; a graphical layout similar to video editing software; and a customizable UI showing only essential controls. These options accommodate both experienced ROP operators and less experienced users.

Key features include:
Control and image adjustment for compatible Panasonic studio and PTZ cameras (initially AK-UCX100, AK-UC4000/UC4000B, AK-UC3300 studio cameras; AW-UE160, AW-UE150A PTZ cameras; AK-UBX100 multipurpose camera; with future updates adding support for AW-UE150 and AW-UR100 PTZ cameras)
GUI display of up to 20 cameras per license
Three types of control-panel GUIs (with graphical layout and custom UI available in future updates)
Access from tablets and other network devices, with a Windows PC as the host
Advanced image adjustment via software

Panasonic will demonstrate the Media Production Suite platform and the Image Adjust Pro plug-in at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2026, Booth 3J500, in Barcelona, Spain, from February 3–6.
