Panasonic has expanded its EVP-BD, EVP-0B, EVP-CD, and EVP-BX Series of 6.0 mm × 6.0 mm SMD top-push 2-terminal tactile switches to include the EVP-BX (Quiet Type) variant.
The EVP-BX Series introduces a silent operation option to the lineup while maintaining the same compact 6 mm square footprint. These switches are available with operating forces of 4 N and 6 N and have a rated lifespan of 200,000 cycles.
The addition provides designers with a low-noise tactile switch alternative that delivers reliable performance and tactile feedback. The EVP-BX switches feature a high click ratio for crisp tactile feel combined with minimized click noise.
The switches are designed for applications requiring silent operation along with durable mechanical performance, including automotive, audio, and industrial uses. Their low-profile and compact size supports integration in space-constrained designs where both reliability and reduced acoustic noise are required.
