ABLIC Introduces S-19560B Series PMIC for ADAS Automotive Camera Modules with AEC-Q100 Compliance in Process

Tokyo-based ABLIC Inc., a subsidiary of MinebeaMitsumi Inc., has launched the S-19560B Series, a power management IC (PMIC) designed for automotive camera modules in the month of Nov 2025. The device supports an input voltage range of 4.0V to 16V and provides three output channels: two step-down DC-DC converters and one LDO regulator.

The S-19560B Series integrates these channels into an HSNT-8(2030) package measuring 2.0 × 3.0 × 0.5 mm. When combined with ABLIC's S-19255 high-PSRR LDO regulator, it enables a four-channel power supply configuration. This setup achieves a mounting area reduction of approximately 20% compared to competing four-channel PMICs for 5-megapixel automotive camera modules, according to ABLIC's internal research as of November 2025.

The design disperses heat by allowing one LDO to be placed externally, which also enables shorter connections to the CMOS image sensor to suppress external noise on power lines. The IC requires minimal external components: two coils and five capacitors for the three-channel setup, plus two additional capacitors when adding the external LDO.

Output voltages and startup sequences are preset, eliminating the need for initialization upon power-on. This accommodates varying requirements from different image sensors and serializers.

Specifications include:
- Channel 1 (DC-DC): 3.3V to 5...
