TDK Releases S30 and S36 Series NTC Inrush Current Limiters Rated up to 35 A and 750 J

TDK has introduced the S series of NTC inrush current limiters, consisting of the S30 (ordering code B57130S0*M000) and S36 (B57136S0*M100) families.

The components support maximum steady-state currents up to 35 A and energy absorption up to 750 J. Applications include switch-mode power supplies, frequency converters, photovoltaic inverters, uninterruptible power supplies, and soft-start motors.

Specifications:

S30 series: 30 mm disk diameter, 7.5 mm lead spacing, maximum power 19 W
S36 series: 36 mm disk diameter, 19 mm lead spacing, maximum power 25 W
Both series: climatic category 55/170/21 (IEC 60068-1)
Resistance values: 2 Ω to 20 Ω (depending on type)
Permissible capacitance: up to 13,050 µF at 240 V AC
Continuous current rating: 10 A to 35 A
