Murata Launches 1.25kV 15nF C0G MLCC in 1210 Size for SiC MOSFET Resonant and Snubber Circuits
Murata has begun mass production of a multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) with the following specifications:
Capacitance: 15 nF
Rated voltage: 1.25 kV
Temperature characteristic: C0G (EIA standard)
Case size: 1210 inch (3.2 mm × 2.5 mm)
Capacitance tolerance: ±1% to ±5%
Operating temperature range: -55°C to +125°C
The product is designed for resonant and snubber circuits in onboard chargers (OBCs) for electric vehicles and in power supply circuits of high-performance consumer devices. It supports applications using silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFETs that require breakdown voltages above 1.2 kV.
The capacitance range of the series covers 4.7 nF to 15 nF.
The MLCC is manufactured using Murata’s ceramic and electrode materials, thin-layer molding technology, and high-precision stacking technology.
