Qorvo QPA9510 Power Amplifier Covers 100-1000 MHz for Sub-1GHz RF in IoT and Public Safety
Qorvo introduced the QPA9510 RF power amplifier, which operates from 100 to 1000 MHz. The device provides +36 dBm output power, 34 dB gain, 55 percent efficiency, and over 70 dB of on-chip analog gain control. It is housed in a 3x3 mm QFN package.
The amplifier supports applications in public safety radios, smart utility metering, RFID logistics, and telematics. It enables coverage of multiple regional bands and reuse across product families through pin-compatible design.
Debbie Gibson, director of Qorvo's Wireless Infrastructure Business, stated that the QPA9510 addresses system-level issues for Sub-1GHz designers by allowing coverage of more bands, extension of device life, and reduction of board spins with a single compact power amplifier.
The QPA9510 integrates with Qorvo low-noise amplifiers, digital step attenuators, and RF switches to form transmit-and-receive chains in linear communication systems.
The QPA9510 and its evaluation board are available through Qorvo's authorized distribution network and on Qorvo.com.
