The SL2220007 supports a steady-state current of 7 A and is designed for switching power supplies, AC motors, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), industrial inverters, and variable frequency drives. It mitigates high inrush current at equipment startup by providing high initial resistance that decreases as steady-state current flows, handling up to 125 J of energy and 265 VRMS of voltage with minimal power loss.

Samples and production quantities of the UL-recognized SL2220007 are available now.  Sales contacts are available at http://www.vishay.com/en/company/contacts/.
