Bourns Launches AEC-Q200 Compliant SRN5040TA-P Power Inductors with Polarity Control for Enhanced EMI Suppression in Automotive Systems

Bourns, announced the SRN5040TA-P Series of semi-shielded power inductors, featuring polarity control for optimized Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) suppression in automotive systems. The automotive-grade, AEC-Q200 compliant series supports DC-DC converters, power supplies, driver assistance, infotainment, and lighting systems, meeting stringent temperature and reliability requirements.

The SRN5040TA-P series employs a semi-shielded design with a magnetic-epoxy coating around the winding perimeter to reduce magnetic field radiation while maintaining high heating and saturation current capabilities. It operates within a temperature range of -55 °C to +125 °C, suitable for space-constrained automotive applications.
