ROHM releases Ultra-Compact TLR1901GXZ CMOS Op Amp with Industry-Leading Low Power for IoT and Wearable Devices
ROHM announced the development of the TLR1901GXZ, a CMOS operational amplifier (op amp) with an operating circuit current of 160nA (typical), the lowest among ultra-low current op amps under 500nA, as per ROHM’s September 2025 study. The op amp is designed for measurement sensing in size-constrained applications, including handheld measurement instruments, wearable devices, and indoor motion detectors.
The TLR1901GXZ uses a Wafer Level Chip Scale Package (WLCSP) with a 0.35mm ball pitch, achieving a footprint of less than 1mm² (0.91mm x 0.80mm, max height 0.33mm). It features a maximum input offset voltage of 0.55mV, approximately 45% lower than typical market products, and a maximum input offset voltage temperature drift of 7µV/°C, supporting high-accuracy operation across a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The op amp operates on a supply voltage of 1.7V to 5.5V with a single circuit configuration.
The device integrates ROHM’s Nano Energy circuit technology and supports high-density mounting, extending battery life in battery-driven devices. It can be ...
