Keysight Introduces HDMI 2.2 Compliance Test Solution for Ultra-High Resolution Video and Signal Integrity

On August 27, 2025, Keysight announced the launch of its Electrical Performance, Validation, and Compliance Test Solution for HDMI, designed to address the increasing complexity and bandwidth demands of HDMI applications, including 8K/12K video, high dynamic range (HDR) content, and immersive audio. The solution supports compliance testing for HDMI transmitter and cable devices as outlined in the HDMI 2.2 test specification released by the HDMI Forum.

The solution provides a fully automated platform for electrical testing, enabling validation of device performance for manufacturers developing consumer electronics. It integrates high-bandwidth measurement hardware with automated compliance workflows to handle complex test scenarios for transmitters and cables, with receiver testing to be introduced later. The modular architecture allows flexible test configurations, and built-in diagnostics offer insights into signal degradation causes, supporting both compliance verification and performance optimization during development.
