Skyroot Aerospace Leverages Siemens Xcelerator for Digital Transformation in Space Technology
Skyroot Aerospace, an Indian private space launch service provider, has adopted Siemens’ Polarion software from the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio to enhance its software development processes. The move aims to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and support the company’s mission to provide affordable, on-demand space access for global customers.
Founded in 2018 by Pawan Kumar Chandana and Naga Bharath Daka, Skyroot Aerospace, headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana, employs over 500 professionals and utilizes advanced manufacturing techniques, including carbon composites and 3D-printed engines. The company achieved a milestone in 2022 with Vikram-S, India’s first privately developed rocket to reach space, and is now preparing for commercial orbital launches with its Vikram-1 rocket.
