Littelfuse introduces AeroSplice: MIL-DTL-24308 Compliant Wire-to-Wire Connectivity Solution for Aviation and Defense

Littelfuse, Inc., an industrial technology manufacturing company, has introduced the AeroSplice Wire-to-Wire Connecting Solution, a wire splicing system designed for aviation and defense applications. The system meets MIL-DTL-24308 specifications and uses AS39029 certified removable crimp contacts to standardize and streamline wire connections.

AeroSplice features a snap-in, snap-off mechanism that completes connections in seconds, replacing manual splicing methods. It reduces installation and inspection time by over 60% and requires less quality control and documentation compared to traditional processes. The reconnectable design with removable crimp contacts supports repairs and maintenance. The system is engineered to withstand high vibration, extreme temperatures, and harsh conditions, and supports wire gauges from AWG20 to AWG28.
