Integra Optics introduces 800G transceivers for high-speed networking

Integra Optics, a brand of Infinite Electronics and a supplier of carrier-grade fiber optic components, has added 800G transceivers to its product lineup. These transceivers are designed to support the increasing demands of AI, cloud computing, and data center networks, offering power efficiency, scalability, and reliability at a lower cost than comparable OEM transceivers.
The 800G transceivers enable faster data transmission rates, enhancing capacity and performance for resource-intensive workloads and real-time processing. They allow network operators to upgrade existing 100G and 400G infrastructure in data centers, cloud computing networks, metropolitan area networks, and other high-speed environments.
Jason Koshy, vice president of global sales at Infinite Electronics, stated that the transceivers support high-capacity networking while providing space efficiency and cost savings compared to similar OEM optics.
Integra Optics’ products are interoperable across most OEM platforms and are tested and coded by the company’s engineering team. The 800G transceiver modules are available in the following configurations, supporting 8x100G, 4x200G, and 2x400G breakout capabilities with transmission distances from 50 meters to 10 kilometers:
OSFP: 2xVR4, 2xSR4, 2xDR4, DR8, 2xDR4+, DR8+, 2xFR4, 2xLR4

QSFP-DD: 2xDR4, 2xDR4+, 2xFR4, 2xLR4
