These low voltage multilayer varistors feature excellent transient energy absorption due to their state-of-the-art energy volume distribution and advanced power dissipation design. Meeting IEC 61000-4-5 standard requirements, the BVRA series provides automotive designers with effective overvoltage protection to safeguard components from harmful transient voltage events. With an exceptionally fast transient response time of less than 1.0 ns, these varistors ensure prompt energy diversion during surge events.

The optimized design of both new BVRA series is available in compact SMD EIA 1210 and EIA 1812-size packaging, with the added benefit of an insulator overcoat that aids in streamlining integration while enhancing efficiency.

The new series also offer stable leakage current for consistent overvoltage protection and are available with a wide working voltage range from 11 V to 100 V DC.
