Zener diodes with sharper voltage breakdown and lesser reverse current

Toshiba has launched 15 products of “CMZxxA series” Zener diodes, which protect power lines of semiconductor devices and equipment from switching surges and over-voltage pulses close to DC. The new CMZxxA series products are the successors to the CMZxx series products, which are EOL announced products. Compared to the CMZxx series, the new products improve the specification range of Zener voltage (typ.) from ±10% to ±5% and the reverse current (max) from 10μA to 0.5μA. These help to simplify equipment design and lower power consumption. Also, using the same package as the CMZxx series makes replacing it with the CMZxxA series easy. The 15 products in the lineup cover a range of Zener voltage (typ.) from 12V to 51V, supporting major power lines. The expanded lineup supports various voltage lines. The new products help to improve equipment reliability by using for surge protection of power supply lines. Applications Consumer equipment (home appliances, power supplies, etc.) Industrial equipment (OA equipment, power supplies, etc.) Features Capable of surge protection from switching surges and over-voltage pulses close to DC Zener voltage for major power lines: VZ (typ.)=12V to 51V High-precision Zener voltage standard width: ±5% Low reverse current: IR (max)=0.5μA\ More details at: https://toshiba.semicon-storage.com Source: Tosh...
