AMD new desktop processors Ryzen 8000G pack powefull GPU and dedicated AI NPU

As part of its announcement at the popular event CES 2024, AMD announced a new desktop processor family called AMD Ryzen 8000G Series for the AM5 platform. Ryzen 7 8700G, a most powerful member of this family integrates world's most powerful graphic processor and a dedicated AI neural processor unit.

Ryzen 8000G Series is an all-in-one desktop processor family with up to eight cores and 16 threads for powerful performance in gaming and content creation.
These processors, built on the "Zen 4" architecture, prioritize energy efficiency without compromising on speed or responsiveness.

The Ryzen 7 8700G and Ryzen 5 8600G, top models in the series, pack Radeon graphics and AMD Ryzen AI NPU on a desktop PC processor supporting AI needs in desktop computer.

AMD claims 8000G Series has a fastest built-in graphics in its class, providing a smooth AAA 1080p gaming experience and supporting small form factors.

By having AMD EXPO tech for higher memory frequencies and Precision Boost Overdrive for one-touch overclocking, the Ryzen 8000G Series is set to be available to DIY customers and SI partners on January 31st, 2024, with OEM systems arriving in Q2 2024.

AMD also introduces the new Ryzen 5000 Series processors for AM4 socket for gaming enthusiasts, featuring the "Zen 3" architecture.

The lineup consists of four processors: Ryzen 7 5700X3D, Ryzen 5 5700, Ryzen 5 5600GT, and Ryzen™ 5 5500GT.
The Ryzen 7 5700X3D, designed for gamers, boasts eight cores, 16 threads, and AMD 3D V-Cache technology for a significant gaming performance boost.

These processors optimize performance with higher clock speeds and enhanced efficiency for a seamless gaming experience.

The Ryzen 5000 Series processors are set to be available to DIY customers and SI partners starting January 31st, 2024.
