Zephyr OS providing drivers for Würth Elektronik sensors

Date: 27/11/2023
The Zephyr RTOS from Linux Foundation is now providing drivers for compact sensors such as humidity and temperature sensors, a 6-axis gyroscope with accelerometer, and absolute and differential pressure sensors from Würth Elektronik. Würth Elektronik is providing a new application note ANR034 (www.we-online.com/ANR034) with instructions on how to integrate a sensor into the terminal device software in few steps.

With a significant number of microcontroller and processor manufacturers such as NXP, Nordic Semiconductor, STMicroelectronics, and Intel are supporting Zephyr. Zephyr offers many functions for operating external electronic components such as sensors, displays and radio modules.
Zephyr also includes information needed to develop firmware for the Würth Elektronik wireless modules.

Würth Elektronik offers a firmware development service and support in certifying customer-specific wireless technology.

Zephyr is designed for resource-constrained embedded systems. The project was launched as a Linux Foundation project in 2016 with founding members Intel, Wind River, Synopsys, and NXP. Zephyr is widely adopted, attracting more than 1,600 project contributors and spanning 13 supported architectures.
