ABB Robotics has expanded the reach of its Wizard Easy Programming software, which is free of cost, to encompass its six-axis industrial robots that are powered by an OmniCore controller, in addition to its collaborative robots. Since its initial launch in 2020, Wizard Easy Programming has gained widespread popularity and has been extensively utilized across various applications utilizing ABB's collaborative robot portfolio, which includes the Yumi, SWIFTI, and GoFa cobot families.
The software assists untrained operators in creating robot applications like arc welding or machine tending.
