HDIP30 packaged 600V small Intelligent Power Devices for brushless DC motor drive

Toshiba has recently introduced a pair of 600V small intelligent power devices (IPDs) designed specifically for brushless DC motor drive applications such as air conditioners, air cleaners, and pumps. The mass production of these devices, namely "TPD4163K" and "TPD4164K," with respective output current (DC) ratings of 1A and 2A, has started. 600V
The latest products from Toshiba are now available in a compact through-hole type HDIP30 package, resulting in a 21% reduction in mounting area compared to their previous products. This feature is particularly beneficial for motor drive circuit boards, as it helps to minimize their size. Additionally, to enhance reliability in areas with unstable power supply, the power supply voltage has been raised from 500V to 600V in the new products.
