WR12 E-band isolator Waveguide handles high forward and reflected RF power

Smiths Interconnect has made available of its newly designed E- band WR12 waveguide passive coupler, loads and isolators for next generation E-Band terrestrial uplinks to LEO satellite constellations and payloads.

Smiths Interconnect' family of products are optimised to manage the particularly high RF powers required to sustain a robust communications link.

Smiths Interconnect’s E-band WR12 waveguide hybrids offer the following features:

Tuneless and broadband, suitable for global applications.
Suitable for signal splitting and combining applications and readily configurable with a selection of high-power termination appropriate to the incident power.
Operating over the allocated band (71-76 and 81-86 GHz.)
Temperature stable under exacting thermal loads.
Clear chromate conversion coated.

Smiths Interconnect’s WR12 E-band isolator utilises a novel design approach selected to be able to handle high levels of forward and reflected RF power and offers:
