200GB memory card by SanDisk

200GB Ultra microSD-XC UHS-I card is launched by SanDisk. Now mobile phone users can capture, save and share photos, videos and other files without worrying about storage limitations. With 200 GB microSD card available, soon you can expect 1 TB microSD card. This means huge memory space for all your storage in your mobile phone, well it seems so, but over the years, who knows the 1 TB space may not be enough. Each individual want to store the whole world on their memory card. The 3-D NAND flash memory technology improvement is making all that possible.

The problem with the storage is becoming more of retrieving the data rather than then storing the data. Let's hope one day memory card solution providers may also offers Smart memory so that users are provided with their favourite data with easy access, maybe voice based control of memory.

If you're worrying about the speed of the transfer of data in these kind of memory cards, the data speed is 90MB/s, so you can expect to move up to 1,200 photos per minute.

SanDisk is also providing app called OptiMem Memory Zone app to monitor the phone’s memory levels to inform users whenever the internal memory falls below a user-defined threshold. Once this threshold is reached, the OptiMem app feature will automatically transfer some of their old photos and videos to their microSD card.

The 200GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card with ten-year limited warranty is priced at $399.99 and is available in the second quarter of 2015.
