Industrial tablet PC based on TI Sitara AM3515 chip

IEIMobile has announced the new ruggedized tablet PC, the ICECARE 7” Mobile Field Assistant. This ruggedized tablet PC is based on the Tl Sitara AM3515 CPU and Android 4.1.2 OS.

The ICECARE features wireless communication technologies such as GPRS/CDMA/HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and Bluetooth v4.0 that allow field service providers to stay seamlessly connected. Built-in GPS, front and rear-facing CMOS cameras, a 13.56MHz RFID reader and a 1D laser/2D imager scan engine are the other notable features.

ICECARE is designed to manage power efficiently with two hot-swappable battery packs that provide 1880mAh capacity at 11.1V which increase field service productivity and efficiency with the ICECARE 7" Mobile Field Assistant. This rugged tablet PC is made for outdoor applications, meeting the demands of tough environments. Integrated with wireless communication and advanced data acquisition technologies, the ICECARE offers a higher level of flexibility and stability for field workers and managers.
