Rad-hardened precision 40V 19MHz op-amp offer best SET performance

Analog chip expert Intersil Corporation has introduced radiation hardened ISL70444SEH, a rail-to-rail input and output 40-Volt 19-MHz op amp offering low power and low offset voltage for aerospace, satellite, and data acquisition applications. The key features include: ISL70444SEH features low temperature drift and good output noise performance. The device’s common mode input voltage range extends to the supply rails and the output voltage can swing rail-to-rail. It operates over a single supply range of 3V to 40V or from split supply rails ranging from +/-1.5V to +/-18V. Good performance on Single Event Effects (SEE), Transient (SET), Burnout (SEB).Single-event transient (SET) testing has demonstrated output pulses of less than 5 microseconds on the amplifier output at a heavy ion linear energy transfer (LET) up to 86 MeV.cm2/mg.Single-event burnout (SEB) level matches the Intersil PR40 process’ absolute maximum rating of 42V at 86 MeV.cm2/mg. Very good SET performance helps in minimizing filtering and design analysis It is rated at a total dose level of 300 krad(Si) at high dose rate irradiation and at 50 krad(Si) at low dose rate per MIL-STD-883. The part is acceptance tested on a wafer-by-wafer basis at both high and low dose rates. Four monolithic low power op amps on one die provide maximum dynamic range. Enhanced slew rate mode boosts rate to 100V/us (at 40V s...
