Mentor integrates MontaVista into its embedded automotive tech platform

Mentor Graphics said it has integrated the recently acquired MontaVista Automotive Technology Platform with the Mentor Embedded Infotainment Base Platform and Sourcery CodeBench and Sourcery Analyzer development tools. The new Mentor Embedded Automotive Technology Platform (ATP) is fully compliant with Yocto Project 1.3 and GENIVI 3.0.

“Automotive Tier One suppliers and OEMs can optimize hardware performance and take advantage of an expanded automotive-grade middleware in this new and combined Mentor Embedded Automotive Technology Platform,” said Mark Mitchell, general manager of Mentor Graphics Open Source Embedded Solutions.
