1/2 Mb FRAM memory ICs from Fujitsu guarantee 10 trillion r/ws

Fujitsu Semiconductor is sampling two new FRAM ICs, MB85RS1MT and MB85RS2MT with storage capacity of 1 Mbit and 2 Mbit of memory. The two new FRAM chips guarantee 10 trillion read/write cycles, roughly ten times more than existing chips, consume 92% less power during writing compared to existing same density EEPROMs, claims Fujitsu. Another big advantage of FRAM is data can be written into FRAM faster like the way it is written into SRAM.

MB85RS1MT (1 Mbit) and MB85RS2MT (2 Mbit) feature SPI serial interface.
