XSP2L LEDs from Cree as replacement for sodium and halogen based street lamps

Cree has announced the new XSP2L LED street light which increases lumen output over 35 percent compared to the original XSP luminaire. The XSP2L LED is suggested as ideal replacement for outdated high-pressure sodium and metal-halide street lamp fixtures up to 400 watts.

Cree XSP Series LED Street Light comes with ten year warranty and a calculated L70 lifetime of more than 100,000 hours and features a state-of-the-art thermal management system to improve overall performance. This is high-performance luminaire is claimed by Cree to deliver up to 30 percent more lumens per dollar.
