SemiQ Expands QSiC Dual3 SiC Module Family with Better Thermal Options and Higher Voltage Ratings

SemiQ has broadened its QSiC Dual3 half-bridge module lineup, adding two meaningful upgrades: improved thermal management variants and new 1700V-rated devices. The expanded family is aimed squarely at demanding power conversion applications in AI data centers, battery energy storage systems, and industrial motor drives like chillers and cooling towers.

A half-bridge module is a fundamental building block in power converters, it switches high voltages on and off rapidly to convert power efficiently. The QSiC Dual3 uses Silicon Carbide MOSFETs, which outperform traditional silicon IGBTs in switching speed, efficiency, and heat handling.
