High speed docking station chip-set supports dual 2K display and Gb Ethernet
DisplayLink has launched new DL-3950 USB 3.0 Universal Docking Chip-set which helps in docking notebook computers to desktop display and other desktop devices such as 2560x1600 DisplayPort monitors, Gigabit Ethernet, 5.1 channel audio.
The new DL-3950 is available from Q1 2014 for volume production. The fully integrated docking chip set enables the highest USB graphics resolution to-date with dual 2560x1600 and new dual 2560x1440 resolutions offered on the latest monitors.
