Attend Electronica India 2010 to feel the pulse of Indian electronics industry

If you are in Bangalore or in a position to travel to Bangalore, we seriously suggest you to attend the ongoing event electronica India and productronica India -2010 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Tumkur Road Bangalore, to learn the trends in electronics manufacturing. The event has started on Sept 7 and will end on Sept 10 2010.

productronica covers production technologies, SMT and EMS / contract manufacturers as well as PCB and electronica India covers components, semiconductors, assemblies and materials.

Here are the stats provided by event organizer, Messe München GmbH:
"In 2010 869 exhibitors and represented companies from 25 countries present their products and applications on an area of 13,000sqm. Visitor numbers are expected to be even higher than last year when 10,3150 visitors from the industry and 4,950 exhibitor attendees visited the trade show"

You can find lots of Chinese and Taiwanese electronic component, semiconductor and other electronics related companies displaying their products and technologies along with leading electronics engineering brands from all over the world.

The pity here is you can't find much India based electronic manufacturing companies, you can find a few but the ratio is not worth the potential of this region. We are still living in a hope that India regains some stake in electronics manufacturing. On positive side, there are some growth symptoms in solar domain.
