China has overtaken US market in electric vehicle production. China Association of Automobile Manufacturers find in its study domestic and foreign brands in China presently account for 96% and 4% of the regional EVs market respectively. The local automotive company BYD accounts for 30% of this market.
US based Tesla has great plans for high end market of clean energy powered vehicles along with the successful launch of Model S and Model X vehicles.
