Enea to acquire Qosmos

System software expert Enea to acquire Paris based network intelligency software company Qosmos. Enea has acquired this company for an approximate price of 52.7M EUR.

"I am proud to announce this highly complementary acquisition, which provides a significant and attractive extension of our portfolio. The combination of our companies will benefit the joint customer base, open up new market segments, and accelerate Enea's growth going forward while maintaining a healthy profit margin," says Anders Lidbeck , President and CEO of Enea.

Qosmos offers Network Intelligency software to Telecom network for analyzing real-time traffic visibility which is a critical component for applications such as mobile traffic management, cyber security and network analytics.

By using Qosmos software, Telecom operators can create any type of service combination in an open, virtualized architecture. Enea plans to build a stronger offering in the area of Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV) by utilizing Qosmos products.

Qosmos was founded in 2000 with around 90 employees and generates revenue of 14.2M EUR, according to 2016 estimation.
