Mobile data terminal for use in off-road
vehicle and stationary applications
Advantech-DloG has announced the latest mobile data terminal
IPC7/215,suitable for business processes in off-road vehicle
and stationary applications, vertical markets in ultra-rugged
environments.
Advantech-DLoG IPC 7/215 has large 15" touchscreen
panel enables more applications, easier viewing and easier
navigation. IPC 7/215's dual-core processors are suited
to computational-intense applications and the system supports
a choice of Windows XP Professional, XP Embedded, or Linux.
It comes with two PCI expansion slots, which allow support
for legacy systems, and integration with existing infrastructures.
IPC7/215 is intended to use as a mounting brackets, converting
it into a stationary terminal as well. It can also be mounted
for use on forklifts, truck cabs, driver compartments, and
other in-vehicle scenarios. IPC7/215 is built with industrial-grade
components using embedded PC technology, and the system
has a strong mechanical design to ensure continuous reliability
in day-to-day operations and under harsh environmental conditions.
Advantech-DLoG , fanless system has certified touchscreen,
sound support, a host of expansion options, and broad support
for wireless technologies (WLAN, Bluetooth, RFID, GPS, GPRS)
as well.
IPC7/215 carries an IP67 rating, and a class 5M3 certification
against shock and vibration-verified by independent laboratory
testing. The system works well under rapid and extreme temperature
changes, through a range of -10 to 50 °C.
