Enhanced Security and Tooling: The Zephyr 3.6 release marks a significant milestone towards the upcoming Long-Term Support (LTS) version. It integrates Trusted Firmware-M 2.0 and introduces improved Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) generation tools, ensuring robust security measures and timely vulnerability management.
Expanded Device Support: Zephyr 3.6 adds over 30 new boards, bringing the total to over 600 supported boards across different architectures. This broad compatibility enables developers to leverage Zephyr for diverse embedded applications, including Industrial IoT, wearables, and machine learning.
