Tanner EDA launched its mixed signal and MEMS design tool in windows 64-bit version

Tanner EDA has released new version of analog/mixed signal and MEMS EDA design tool called Tanner Tools Pro version 14 and HiPer Silicon version 14 in windows 64 bit version to handle larger data and to increase execution speed.

The 64-bit version works the same as the previous 32-bit version, but gives VLSI designers the option to use as much memory as their Windows platform has for larger designs. The 32-bit version was limited to 2GB of memory.

"We improve our software to take advantage of computer hardware trends that help our users," said Nicolas Williams, Tanner EDA Director of Product Management. "Version 14 doesn't have memory limits and is optimized for 64-bit computers, so users can work on designs as large as their memory capacity allows and accomplish more in less time."

Tanner Tools Pro provides software for design, layout and verification tasks of analog, mixed-signal, RF and MEMS semiconductor devices.
HiPer Silicon offers foundry-compatible physical verification engine, Verilog-A simulation and layout automation.
