Melexis defends against lawsuit filed by AMS on patent infringement

Melexis has strongly defended against the lawsuit filed by austriamicrosystems regarding magnetic encoder products. Melexis claims that its Triaxis product line are unique and are based on Sentron's patent portfolio, acquired by Melexis in 2004.

Melexis adds, its Triaxis products result from wholly owned proprietary technology. Melexis is highly confident that the AMS patent will be held not infringed and invalid. Melexis will vigorously defend itself and its Triaxis products in the interests of its customers and shareholders.
