Panasonic announced the New EEH-ZU(U) Series (SMD, High Temp. Reflow) Conductive Polymer Hybrid Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors with the largest capacitance of the current polymer capacitor product lines.

EEH-ZU(U) Series Capacitors handle highest ripple current of 6.1 Arms maximum, a 60% increase over our previous series at both temperatures of 125°C and 135°C, together with the largest capacitance value of 1,000µF maximum, an 80% increase over our previous series and the lowest ESR value of 8mO minimum. The EEH-ZUU Series also exhibits extremely high endurance with 4,000 hours at both 125°C and 135°C. The use of the EEH-ZU(U) Series Capacitors can decrease the PCB area up to 40% by reducing the number of capacitors required on the PCB.

The EEH-ZU(U) Series is AEC-Q200 Compliant and ideal for several “under the hood” Automotive, Telecommunications, Industrial, and General Power Applications for use in Electric Power Steering, 48V Inverter ISG/BSG, 48V E-compressor, DC/DC Converter, AC/DC Converter, Motor Inverter, DC Side of Inverter Circuit and DC Side of Rectifier Circuit.
