HTSSOP28 packaged pin-to-pin compatible 50V, 2.5 A motor driver Ics
Toshiba has launched 50 Volts 2.5 Amperes and 1.6 Amperes motor drivers targeting broad industrial applications and office automation products such as printers, scanners, CNC machines and robotics. The new motor drivers TB67S581FNG, TB67S580FNG are for brushed motors, whereas TB67H481FNG and TB67H480FNG are for 32 step stepper motors.
These IC chips or packaged in thermally enhanced HTSSOP28 package (9.7mm x 6.4mm) taking less space. These products are designed to be pin to pin compatible with other similar alternatives in the market. TB67S581FNG can drive motors with 50V Max, 2.5A Max rating and TB67S580FNG can drive 50V and 1.6A rated motors. TB67H481FNG and TB67H480FNG are constant current dual H-bridge driver Ics, with a motor output voltage rating of 50V and a motor output current rating of 2.5A. The input interface of TB67H481FNG clock input, while TB67H480FNG uses PHASE input. Toshiba says HTSSOP28 package has a mounting area approximately 39% smaller than the HTSSOP48 package used for Toshiba’s current product TB67S109AFNG.
